(SOUTHGATE TWP, ON) – On December 23, 2014 at 11:09 pm, the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash along Ida Street in Southgate Township. Officers arrived to find a White Ford F150 had left the roadway and was at rest in the ditch along Ida Street. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. Twenty-six year old Derek O’NEILL of West Grey Township has been charged with impaired driving and care or control over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 22, 2015 to answer to the charges.
