(ESPANOLA, ON) – At approximately 7:27 pm, on July 18, 2016, members of the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information about the possible location of a male individual wanted by the Sudbury OPP Detachment.
Derek CREGAN, 41 years of age, from Elliot Lake, was located and arrested without incident on Burns Crossover road, in the township of Sables-Spanish Rivers with the assistance of the OPP Helicopter, OPP Canine (K9) Unit and OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT).
The accused was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
