(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 30, 2014 at approximately 10:59 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a Chevrolet pick-up truck on Wellington Road 29 near Side Road 30 in Centre Wellington Township for a traffic related offence.
Upon speaking with the driver police that discovered he had been drinking. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
DENNIS JONES age 27 of Wellington North Township has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 15, 2014 to answer to the charge.
