(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County detachment has charged a 26-year-old male after police were called to investigate an incident at a James Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Saturday, March 12, 2016 at approximately 8:36 p.m., police responded to the James Street address after being contacted by employees at the Belgium Hall.
Through the course of investigation it has been determined that a male became involved in a verbal altercation which turned into a physical confrontation with employees.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 26-year-old Cory James DENNIE of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences:
Assault cause bodily harm
Assault
Assault a peace officer
Fail to comply with Probation Order
Enter premises when entry prohibited
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
