(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a car on Pinehurst Road on 21 June 2016 at approximately 6: 30 p.m. by an alert citizen.
The 2008 Pontiac G-5 was located on Market Street by police and the 53-year-old driver Denise KENT of Cambridge was arrested and charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
Driving with More than 80 mgs, of Alcohol in Blood contrary to Section 253(1)(b)
Driving While Ability Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a)
She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
