(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 4, 2015 at approximately 3:29 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Highway 6 near Eighth Line, Guelph-Eramosa Township and stopped a vehicle for a traffic offence. The male driver made an attempt mislead police with his identity and was arrested. Further investigation revealed that he was not permitted to drive a motor vehicle and was not following conditions placed on him by the court. During the search of the vehicle, Police located suspected marijuana.
46-year-old Demitrios Papadopoulos of Alliston is charged with;
Obstruct Police-Criminal Code (C.C.)
Drive While Disqualified- C.C.
Breach of Recognizance-C.C.
Possession Of Marijuana-Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 4, 2015.
