(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 24th, 2016, at approximately 1:50 a.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while monitoring traffic on Hwy #26 near Glengarry Landing Road observed a motor vehicle that was travelling west bound at a high rate of speed: 150 K/h in a posted 80 K/h zone.
Charged with “Race a Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speed” is Delaney MORRIS 24 year old from Wasaga Beach. First appearance is September 20th, 2016 in Wasaga Beach Provincial Court.
In addition the defendant’s Drivers’ Licence has been suspended for 7 days and the above motor vehicle impounded for 7 days.
