(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating an incident in which a male party was located in the water, unresponsive.
On June 28, 2016 at approximately 1:18pm information related to a possible drowning was received from ambulance dispatch resulting in the OPP attending a residence on Butternut Drive, within the City of Kawartha Lakes. When members attended the scene an adult male was located in the water, deceased.
The investigation is on-going.
