(RENFREW, ON) – Officers from the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death of a male in the Township of McNab Braeside. The deceased male was discovered on the roadway at approximately 4:48 am Saturday, April 2, 2016.
A motorist noticed the deceased on the roadway and called police. Officers have closed Russett Drive between Mabel’s Road and Bandy’s Road while they conduct their investigation. The 29 year old male is from McNab Braeside Township. His identity will not be released pending notification of next of kin.
Provincial Constable Jodi Burns is leading the investigation, with assistance from a Technical Collision Investigator, Forensic Identification Unit, and Renfrew County Crime Unit. The road is expected to be closed for several hours.
