(TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON, ON) – On July 26, 2018, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a farm accident on Sideroad 15, near Conestoga Lake. A farmhand was found deceased in an underground holding tank.
The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Pieter Albertus VANDENBRINK of the Netherlands.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation and the Ministry of Labour (M.O.L) has been called in.
