(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant detachment has charged a 49 year old woman with Careless Driving after investigating a traffic complaint at a Highway (Hwy) #403, County of Brant, ON address.
On Sunday February 1st, 2015 at approximately 11:18 am Police received a complaint of a black BMW travelling at a low speed westbound on Hwy #403 near Hwy #52 and was interfering with other highway traffic.
Police located the slow travelling vehicle on Hwy #403 which appeared to have sustained extensive damage. The vehicle was stopped and it was determined that the BMW was involved in a motor vehicle collision in the City of Hamilton earlier in the day.
As a result of further investigation the driver of the BMW was charged.
Charged with Unnecessary Slow Driving, Careless Driving and Operate an Unsafe Vehicle is 49 year old Debra VANHOREN of Norfolk County, ON. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Brantford, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
