(TOWNSHIP OFSOUTH FRONTENAC) – On November 28th 2014 members of the Ontario Provincial Police – Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by members of the East Region Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the village of Verona, South Frontenac Township.
Officers seized Marihuana and Hydromorphone pills along with a quantity of cash and a large quantity of contraband tobacco. The approximately potential street value of the seized drugs is $1400.00.
55 (years old) female Debra SEYMOUR and 62 (years old) male Mike MAXAM of Verona Ontario, are both charged with possession of Marihuana and Hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking.
The investigation is continuing into the possession and trafficking of the contraband tobacco.
