Police were called to a Burton Avenue rooming house for a neighbor dispute. Residents of the home investigated a strange noise and were confronted by another tenant who threatened to kill them and caused damage to the home.

A short time later a confrontation ensued where a male who had a screwdriver strapped to his hand slapped one of the resident’s and threatened to punch him with the screwdriver.

Police were called and arrested a 57 year old Barrie male. He was charged with numerous weapon, assault and threatening offences. For the safety of the victims, he was held for bail.
