Daytime Break And Enters

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to three daylight break and enter incidents on September 30, 2015, which occurred sometime between approximately 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Culprits attended a property in the 16700 block of Oliver Road, and accessed the residence through a window. Jewelry was stolen.

Culprits attended a property in the 21800 block of Valley View Road, and accessed the interior of the residence through a rear door. Jewelry was stolen.

Culprits attended a property in the 16700 block of Wyton Drive, and accessed the interior of the residence through a rear door. Archery equipment was stolen.

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate these incidents.

Middlesex County OPP requests assistance from the public to report right away to police, any unknown or suspicious people, activities, or vehicles in their area, including parked cars, or strangers approaching residences requesting assistance/directions etc.

Residents are reminded to lock their residences (doors and windows), garages, outbuildings, and vehicles; and to secure their valuables at all times (even when property owners are home).
