(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On June 25, 2015 members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a 911 call reporting that a change purse with approximately $2,500 was missing in Parry Sound. The owner was not sure where she lost the change purse, however she believed it was in a business in Parry Sound.
Police investigation revealed that she had left the purse on a counter and that it was picked up by another woman. Dawn GUENETTE, 32 years of age from Parry Sound has been arrested and charged with:
· Theft under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code (CC).
· Fail to comply with Probation Order contrary to the CC.
The accused was released and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice of Parry Sound on September 17, 2015 to answer to her charges.
