(INGERSOLL, ON.) – Members of Western Region Highway Safety Division Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded a fail to remain collision that occurred on Ingersoll Street in Ingersoll on April 9, 2015 at approximately 2:55p.m.
The collision occurred when a vehicle turned off of Thompson Road to go northbound onto Ingersoll Street in front of a tractor trailer that was travelling southbound on Ingersoll Street.
As a result of investigation, the female driver 43 year old Dawn DERBOWKA of Ingersoll has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident
The investigation is continuing and further charges will be forthcoming.
The female was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on June 16, 2015.
