(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 21, 2015 at approximately 3:09 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2008 Buick for a Highway Traffic Act violation on Wellington Road 30 near Wellington Road 38 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Upon speaking with the driver it was apparent that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
David STICKLE age 39 of Elora has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 17, 2015 to answer to the charge.
