(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On May 18, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on general patrol, on Highway 401 near Orford Road, when he observed a vehicle committing a traffic violation.
The vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation, the male driver, David MCFADDEN, age 40, of Calgary, AB, was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle with Speed Measuring Warning Device contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The set fine for this offence is $140 with total payable of $175 and three demerit points attached to offenders’ drivers licence.
