(Douro-Dummer Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle after officers observed an ATV rider operating with no helmet on Peterborough County Road 6, Saturday evening shortly after 7:30pm.
The male operator of a vehicle was stopped by police and found to have been drinking. Jeremy David MCCLOSKEY (age 39) of Douro-Dummer Township, ON was arrested and charged with:
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood
Driving while disqualified
Fail to comply with a probation order
Drive with no insurance
Drive under suspension
Drive an ATV with no helmet
The accused is scheduled for a show cause hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, ON later today.
