(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Wednesday the 30th of July 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a traffic complaint on Highway 62 in the Town of Bancroft. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it on Mill Street in Bancroft. The male driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Bancroft OPP for breath tests.
53 year old David MCAULEY of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with impaired operation and operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. MCAULEY was released from custody on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 26th of August 2014.
