David JANCZURA – Drugs At RIDe

(BLIND RIVER, ON) – On August 15, 2016, shortly after 12:00 a.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) set up a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) initiative on Causley Street in the Town of Blind River.

A westbound car approached the R.I.D.E. location. Upon speaking to the driver the officer determined that there was Cannabis Marihuana. The driver was arrested. Police searched the vehicle and located a plastic baggy containing Cannabis Marihuana.

As a result, David JANCZURA, 25 years of age, from Mississauga, Ontario, was charged with: Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana- Under 30 grams, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on October 10, 2016.
