(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On March 5, 2014 at approximately 10:48 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a 1998 Dodge traveling at a high rate of speed on Wellington Road 124 and Wellington Road 27, Guelph-Eramosa Township. The speed was captured on radar at 125 km/h in a 70 km/h zone.
The driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
David Gleeson age 19 of Tottenham is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on April 16, 2014 to answer to the charge.
