(GREENSTONE, ON) – On April 28, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment received a report of a Fail to Remain Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) on Highway 11 at the intersection of Highway 11 and Road 801 in the Municipality of Greenstone.
The driver of the other involved Commercial Motor Vehicle had a dashboard camera installed and recording in her vehicle. The driver showed police the recording which assisted them in obtaining the description of the Commercial Motor Vehicle that failed to remain. Police were able to locate the Commercial Motor Vehicle. At the conclusion of the investigation Greenstone OPP charged Surinderpal Singh SIBIA a 34 year old male from Winnipeg, Manitoba with Careless Driving Contrary to Section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act.
