(GEORGIAN BAY TWP, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged the driver of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) following a crash in the Mactier area.
On July 12, 2016 at approximately 9:00 pm Bracebridge OPP was called to attend the scene of a single ATV crash involving two people in Mactier. The driver and passenger had minor injuries. The crash was found to be alcohol related and the driver was arrested.
The 50 year old driver Darrin WILLIAMS of Alcona, Ontario has been charged with
CC 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
Williams will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on August 16, 2016 to answer to his charge.
The accused party received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had the ATV towed and impounded.
