(RENFREW, ON) – Following an investigation into armed robberies in November 2014 in Renfrew and Cobden one male is facing charges.
Darrin CHALMERS, 24 of Pembroke is charged in relation to an armed robbery that occurred at Aikenhead’s Drug Store, Renfrew, on Nov 21, 2014; and an armed robbery which occurred at Conway’s Pharmacy in Cobden on Nov 27, 2014. He is charged with:
2 counts of Disguise with Intent, contrary to CC 351(2),
2 counts of Robbery with Weapon, contrary to section CC 344(1)(b),
2 counts of Theft Under contrary to CC 334(b),
The accused will appear in court in Pembroke on January 20, 2015. Detective Constable Nicole Berger led the investigation.
