Darrin CHALMERS – Armed Robbery

(RENFREW, ON) – Following an investigation into armed robberies in November 2014 in Renfrew and Cobden one male is facing charges.

Darrin CHALMERS, 24 of ‎Pembroke is charged in relation to an armed robbery that occurred at Aikenhead’s Drug Store, Renfrew, on Nov 21, 2014; and an armed robbery which occurred at Conway’s Pharmacy in Cobden on Nov 27, 2014. He is charged with:
2 counts of Disguise with Intent, contrary to CC 351(2),
2 counts of Robbery with Weapon, contrary to section CC 344(1)(b),
2 counts of Theft Under contrary to CC 334(b),
The accused will appear in court in Pembroke on January 20, 2015. Detective Constable Nicole Berger led the investigation.
