(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Monday March 21, 2011 at approximately 10:30 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer conducted a traffic stop on Line 53 near Hwy. 23 south of Monkton.
The officer detected the odour of an alcoholic drink on the driver’s breath and subsequently administered a roadside breath test. The driver failed this test and was transported to the Stratford police station where he also failed Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Darren Fuller (38) of the Municipality of West Perth was charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He is set to appear in Stratford Provincial Court on April 26, 2011 to answer to this charge. He was served a 90 day drivers licence suspension, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
