Danielle JONES – Drive While Suspended

(GOGAMA) – The Gogama Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Shawanaga First Nations, Ontario woman with Driving Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act stemming from an incident on Hwy 144 in McKeown Twp. on August 24th.

An OPP officer observed a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu passenger vehicle allegedly travelling in excess of the speed limit.

The driver was stopped and interviewed at the road side.

A standard police check revealed that a driver’s licence suspension is in effect in Ontario in the driver’s name.

As a result, Danielle JONES, 30, of Shawanaga First Nations, Ontario has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

The driver is required to attend Provincial Court in Timmins on September 19th to answer to the charge laid against her.

The vehicle was removed by a licenced driver.
