(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 20, 2014 at approximately 8:49 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington Road 12 near Wellington Road 45, Mapleton Township.
Officers spoke with the male driver of a 2014 Dodge pickup and determined he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was done which resulted in a fail. He was transported to a local Operations Centre for testing
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Daniel STEWART-DRAVES age 20 of Hinton, Alberta has been charged with Over 80 MGS contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 8, 2014 to answer to the charge.
