(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On August 16, 2014 park wardens at Balsam Lake Provincial Park contacted the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) after a single vehicle collision occurred at the park.
Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle with damage that appeared to have been caused when a tree was struck. It was quickly determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation Daniel SEBBEN, 23 years of age, of Innisfil, was arrested and charged with the offences of impaired driving and driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on September 11, 2014.
