(TINY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 19, 2015 at 1:26 a.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of an impaired driver on Lafontaine Road in Tiny Township. The involved motor vehicle ended in a ditch prior to police arrival.
Officers located the male driver of the motor vehicle and found him to be under the influence of alcohol. The male was arrested by police. His 1989 Chevrolet Corvette was impounded for 7 days and his license suspended for 90 days.
Daniel Kostas MALINAS (age 44) from Tiny Township has been charged with:
– Driving While Ability Impaired
– Exceed 80 mgs
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on August 20, 2015.
