(Napanee, ON)- On November 17, 2016 at 8:30 p.m. officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a RIDE program on County Road 8 south of Napanee.
As a result of a vehicle check police arrested a 46 year-old St. Thomas man for impaired driving. Police located open alcohol in the vehicle as well as 11 grams of marihuana.
Charged with impaired driving, over 80 mgs. and possession of a controlled substance is Daniel GUY. The man’s vehicle was impounded for seven days and he was issued an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
He was released from police custody on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on December 13, 2016.
