(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Wednesday afternoon March 14, 2012, Perth County OPP officers with the assistance of the Drug enforcement Unit stopped a motor vehicle in Amulree. The three occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marihuana as well as a large amount of Canadian currency. The drugs and money were seized as offence related property.
As a result of further investigation a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant was executed at a residence on Main St. South in Milverton. Additional drugs were seized at this location.
Dana Siegner (22) and Harley Schneider (34) both of the Township of Perth East as well as David Spies (35) of Kitchener are charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The charges include possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (marihuana). David Spies has also been charged with breach of probation.
All three charged persons attended Stratford Bail Court on Thursday March 15th and were released on a Recognizance. They are to re-attend court on Friday March 16th to answer to their charges.
