(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 22-year-old male after police were called to a Highway 3, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at approximately 6:25 p.m., an alert citizen contacted police about a vehicle that was travelling eastbound on Highway 3. The vehicle was located by patrolling officers and subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 22-year-old Dameon Andrew WAKARCHUK of Norfolk County, Ontario with driving over the legal limit and driving while under suspension.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
