On July 28, 2013 at 11:37 a.m., the Guelph Police Service was contacted regarding a motor vehicle that appeared to have been abandoned in the driveway of an apartment building on College Avenue. It was further reported that this motor vehicle had significant damage to the front end. Police spoke with the owner of the vehicle and investigation alleged that the damage had occurred in a collision the evening prior, and that the registered owner was the driver.
A 32-year-old Guelph man has been charged with fail to report accident, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
