Damage to Canada Post Mail Boxes

On February 7, 2018, Guelph police were called to McCorkindale Place, Tovell Drive and two locations on Willow Road, where Canada Post reported damage to mail boxes. At this time, there are no suspects and it is unknown if these incidents are related.

Collision

On February 7, 2018 at approximately 6:50am, Guelph police were called to the intersection of Speedvale Avenue West and Dawson Road, where there was a report of a collision. A red Toyota, driven by a 28 year old Guelph male, was southbound on Dawson and a grey Toyota, driven by a 28 year old Guelph male, was northbound on Dawson. The two vehicle collided in the intersection.

The driver of the grey Toyota was transported to the Guelph General Hospital with injuries to his arm and hand. Total damage is estimated at $10,000.

The driver of the red Toyota was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
