(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Monday June 20th, 2016, at approximately 3:30pm, officers from the Quinte West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to several traffic complaints regarding a white Pontiac Montana Van driving erratically. The vehicle was observed by witnesses exiting Highway 401 at Highway 33, then later observed in the area of Gunter Settlement Road.
Police located the vehicle travelling on Stockdale Road and eventually got the vehicle safely off the road. Police investigation revealed that the man was impaired by drugs and breaching conditions in a court order. The man was arrested at the scene.
Dale Woodall, 53, from Trenton has been charged with the following offences:
Driving a Motor Vehicle while ability Impaired by Drug
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Fail to Comply with a Court Order x 2
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in court on July 14th, 2016, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
