Dale Reid – Drunk Driving, Breach Probation

(BLUEWATER, ON) A traffic stop at a campground located at Keith Crescent in Bayfield has resulted in a 45 year old male driver losing his driving privileges for an automatic 90 days. At 1:42 p.m. on June 22, 2013 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck inside the campground. Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a fail on the device. The driver was arrested and transported to Exeter OPP Detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both were above the legal limit. Further checks revealed the driver was failing to comply with a condition of his probation order.

Dale REID, 45, from Bluewater has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol and Breach of Probation Order. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 15, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
