(GRAVENHURST, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint from a member of the public shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 about an impaired driver on Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst.
Police patrolled the area, located the suspect vehicle on Muskoka Road 169 and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, 61 year-old Dale MARKHAM of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle CC 253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 253(1)(b). He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on May 9, 2017 to answer to his charges.
The accused received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded.
