The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 122 calls for service in the last 24 hours. 3 people were arrested.

Stolen Vehicle

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a stolen truck in Chatham.

Sometime between February 10, 2015 and March 13, 2015, unknown suspect(s) stole a 2012 Ford F-150 pick-up from a business on Seventh Line just south of Chatham. The vehicle is described as a white regular cab truck, with a sticker “Reigling Bros.” on the tailgate and an 8ft long box. The truck was last seen with Ontario licence plate AF83485. The value of the truck is estimated at approximately $20,000.

Man Charged with Fail to Comply after Domestic Dispute

On March 13, 2015 at 6:00am Chatham-Kent police attended a Raleigh Street address in Chatham in relation to a domestic dispute. As a result of the investigation it was learned that the 43 year old Ridgetown man was on several conditions as ordered by the courts. The man was not to attended the address on Raleigh Street, observe by a curfew and not communicate with the victim. The man was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Fail to Comply with a recognizance and held for a bail bearing.

Motor Vehicle Collision

At approximately 4pm on March 13, 2015 Chatham-Kent police responded to a single motor vehicle rollover on Orford Road just outside of Ridgetown. A woman and her child were traveling on Orford Road when she lost control of her vehicle, it left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in a field. Ambulance attended the scene to check on the woman and her child but as a result of the collision they did not sustain any injuries. The conclusion of the investigation resulted in a 25 year old Chatham woman being charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
