(Prince Edward County, ON)—On July 27, 2015 at 4:30pm officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision at Main St. and Washburn St., Picton. The police investigation revealed that an eastbound cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle entering onto the roadway.
The cyclist sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle, a 34-year old male, Michael CARMAN of Campbellford, ON is charged with Fail to Yield from Private Drive, contrary to Section 139(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
