(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 21, 2015, the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a car versus cyclist collision on Highway 59 just outside Norwich.
On July 21, 2015 at approximately 9:30 p.m. police were called to the collision on Highway 59 between Quaker Street and Utility Line, just south of the Village of Norwich. The motor vehicle was northbound on Highway 59 and struck the cyclist which was travelling southbound in the northbound lane. The adult male cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deceased male has now been identified as Timothy O’CONNOR, 51-years-old of Norwich Township.
The collision remains under investigation.
