(BANCROFT, ON) – During the evening on the 8th of October, 2016 officers with the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting traffic enforcement in the Town of Bancroft.
The officers were utilizing the Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system, which automatically reads vehicle licence plates. Once the APLR system activated, officers conducted a traffic stop and determined that the driver of the vehicle was under suspension.
Mary MCCREA , 55 years of Hastings Highlands was charged with driving while under suspension and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 6th of December, 2016.
