(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 27, 2015 at approximately 8:00 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report about a break and enter to a residence located on Elgin Street North in Mount Forest, Wellington North Township.
Investigation revealed that unknown suspect/s gained entry to the home by cutting the screen in an open window sometime between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on June 26 and 8:00 a.m. on June 27, 2015. The elderly home owner was at home sleeping during this crime and did not hear anything.
A Lenovo laptop and leather wallet containing cash along with identification was stolen.
