Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers and the Killaloe OPP in conjunction with the Renfrew County Crime Unit are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving an armed robbery.
Shortly before 6 pm at the Northern Credit Union on 237 John Street in Eganville on Friday May 10, 2013 an armed robbery was reported. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described to be a Caucasian male approximately 5’2â€Â-5’7†with a muscular build. He was wearing a black ball cap, a dark hooded sweater, black running shoes and a pair of baggy, cotton, black and white plaid pants. The suspect was carrying a lime green oversized lunch cooler.
On the morning of the 12th of May, 2013, a Red Dodge, single cab Pickup truck was found abandoned in the field of “Serenity Bay Campground†located just east of the town of Eganville on Highway 60. This vehicle, which has business logos “The Woodcrafters†on its doors, had been reported stolen from the City of Ottawa on the 8th of May, 2013.
