(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for public support as the festive season quickly approaches.
On Saturday, November 9, 2013 members of the OPP and the Auxiliary unit are teaming up with the Valu Mart in Bobcaygeon to show their support for the local food bank. A police cruiser will be parked at the front entrance to the store, ready to receive food donations from the public.
The OPP and community partners will be present at this location between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm with the hope that donations will ‘cram the cruiser’ with food items. The donated items will then be transported to the local Bank for distribution.
