(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will team up with the Sobey’s grocery store in Fenelon Falls this weekend in an effort to collect donations for the local food bank.
Members of the OPP and the OPP Auxiliary unit will be present on Saturday, December 6, 2014 between the hours of 9:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. to collect food donations. All donations will stay in the area to help support families in need.
“The Cram the Cruiser event allows the OPP to work with community members to provide support for those in need during a very special time of yearâ€Â, states A/S/Sgt. Andrew Creaser.
Store owner, Mark Knoester has been a part of this event for 5 years now and adds that it is important to give back to the community in which he works, recognizing that the holiday season is an important time to support our families.
Show your support on Saturday by helping to “cram the cruiserâ€Â!!
