(Peterborough County, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Team with the assistance of Peterborough Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act warrant at an Armour Road address Tuesday afternoon.
Robert COONES (age 70) of Peterborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine and Crack Cocaine)
Possession of a schedule II controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (Marihuana)
Possession of proceeds of crime
The accused was held in custody pending a show cause hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario.
