Crack Cocaine Bust – GREER, HART-PAYNE, CHIASSON, DEWITT, GALAMBOS, HART & STEFANICK

(ORILLIA, ON) – On Friday March 31, 2017 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Orillia Street Crime Unit (SCU) assisted by uniformed officers of the Orillia Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) Search Warrant at two separate residences in the City of Orillia. The locations involved were O’Brien Street and Mary Street.

The Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) and the Central Region Emergency Response Team and Central Region Canine Units attended to provide assistance.

Police located and seized powder cocaine, crack cocaine, cannabis marihuana, cannabis resin, hydromorphone and drug paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking.

A prohibited weapon was also seized.

The following individuals were arrested and have been charged:

Paul HART-PAYNE – 23 years of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Cannabis Marihuana, Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Morphine, Possession of Cannabis Resin, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Weapon in Contravention of an Order, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was held for a bail hearing on 01 April 2017

Kayla CHIASSON – 26 years of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine Possession of Cannabis Marihuana and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. She was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia.

John GREER – 34 years of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cannabis Marihuana and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. He was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia

James DEWITT – 34 years of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine. He was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia.

Veronica GALAMBOS – 33 years of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine. She was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia.

Lela HART – 48 years of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine. She was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia.

Kevin HART-PAYNE – 21 years – of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine. He was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia.

Cory STEFANICK – 48 years – of the City of Orillia is charged with Possession of Cocaine. He was released with a court date of 9 May 2017 in Orillia.
