Council To Sell Revenue Producing Trailer Park Without Public Consultation

At the August 2nd Council meeting, Council declared the town owned Trailer Park surplus and agreed they should take the appropriate steps to sell the property.

WFP is unaware of any public consultation/input before Council made the decision to sell Wingham’s only tourist attraction, which brings in 20-50 families per season into our town. These families buy groceries, eat at our restaurants and use other services while vacationing in Wingham.
