If you have watched or attended North Huron budget meetings, you will have noticed a few significant things. The local newspaper never seems to be there, and some Town Staff virtually beg Council for direction and input on the budget. Councillors do not offer any direction during these meetings, and it has been disclosed they haven’t even emailed in any questions. Council simply tells staff they did a great job, and there is nothing they would change. That is what we call rubber stamping”.
